You are very welcome to submit your work to us. We accept unsolicited submissions from first-time authors to more experienced writers.

We publish:

Erotica and erotic romance of all heat levels in all sub-genres, ranging from the soft and sensual to the dark and edgy. We encourage diversity in gender and sexual orientation. We do not shy away from graphic description when it is used well in the story, and we love edgier themes that push characters’ boundaries. We also love a powerful love story. In particular, we adore beautifully-written prose. Metaphor, alliteration and allusion turn us on.

No scat, necrophilia (the undead and shifters are OK), bestiality, abuse as titillation or underage sexually active characters (in the UK, this is 18. If you are unsure, make your characters 21 or over).

Poetry about love, passion, and work which evokes strong emotion. We love poetry that is technically well-executed and grasps us by the heart or the loins—or both!

Romantic/women’s fiction where the story comes first and the emotional element is woven into the story. This is not ‘romance’ as it does not have to have a happily-ever-after or a happy-for-now ending. Strong overall themes are imperative here, which may have nothing to do with romance. We adore a literary style, although this is not compulsory, and encourage explicit scenes if they add to the story. Do not skirt around your sex, lust, or your love.

We accept:

Individual short stories in response to anthology or other calls;

Novelettes in erotica/erotic romance (7,500–17,500 words);

Novellas in all our fiction genres (17,500–40,000 words);

Novels (40,000–100,000 words max.);

Short story collections by individual authors in all our fiction genres;

Poetry collections by individual authors.

We will always consider work which has been co-authored.

All accepted work is published as ebooks on multiple platforms. Novellas, novels, short story collections and poetry collections will be published as hard copy. Audiobook publications may also be possible.

Still keen to submit? Excellent!

Please format your submission in 12pt Times New Roman font, double-spaced for fiction, single-spaced for poetry. Black type only, please; no coloured fonts. If you are submitting a novel, please send the first 3-5 chapters. If you are submitting a short story collection or poetry collection, please send enough for us to get a ‘feel’ for your work; if we love it, we will definitely want to see more! For all other work, please send the full manuscript. It is also important to ensure that you have completed your work before sending.

Submit by email to with ‘SUBMISSION: [title of your work and genre]’ in the email header. In the body of your email, please tell us a little about yourself and your pen name (if applicable), state the title of your work and its word count. Provide a brief synopsis of your submission (no more than two paragraphs). Attach your work preferably as a .docx file (.doc files and rtf files also accepted). If you have problems with these formats, please contact us so we can accommodate the files you have.

Our response usually takes 4–6 weeks, often quicker. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have not heard from us after 6 weeks. This is highly unlikely, though: we know what it’s like to sit, waiting to hear from a publisher. We won’t keep you waiting any longer than necessary.

If you have any other questions about the submission process, see our Author FAQs. If you still need clarification about anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
